At Sally Port Magazine, we publish a quarterly digital magazine with stories written by and for all ages, so you can get lost in the adventure and not worry about the content your family might encounter.
Sally Port Magazine releases new issues every 3 months, containing:

Sally Port Magazine opens the doors of imagination to anyone who wants to read a great story. It’s a safe place for readers to get lost in what could be and what might have been. Each issue includes original, clean fantasy stories for middle grade, YA, and general audiences. That means that while Sally Port Magazine stories are written for a variety of ages and experiences, every story can be enjoyed by the whole family (yes there’s even stuff for advanced readers and parents!).

Advice and Opportunities for Writers
Since we know that people who love to read often love to write, Sally Port provides real-world advice on writing, storytelling, and publishing that will help writers of all ages to improve their craft. Our goal is to open the doors of opportunity to anyone who wants to tell a great story. That means we welcome submissions from all ages, so aspiring authors can apply what they learn and see their stories in print.
Great Stories by Humans, for Humans
As the internet gets increasingly saturated with AI generated content, it’s sometimes hard to trust what’s available online. Sally Port Magazine rejects any work generated by AI, whether that’s stories, art, or articles, so you can rest assured knowing that your dollars are supporting real people’s creative efforts. In addition, we use a blind submission process that ensures stories are evaluated on their merit alone, not on the credentials of the author. If a middle-grader submits a story that resonates with us more than a story submitted by a New York Times bestselling author, the middle grader will be the one we put in print. That means every writer gets a fair chance at publication, and every reader gets the best stories we can find.
